One of my closest friends is freaking out over the idea of meeting the family of the guy that has been showing interest on her. The guy invited her to come over just to attend the wedding. But, just yesterday she learned he plans to introduce her to the parents.

She doesn’t know what to do since she is uncertain of the status of their relationship. Despite that fact she still wants to make a good impression. Now, she is having a hard time picking the right gift to bring. Fortunately, she was able to get little hints from their common friends.

She hears that the father likes cigars. From that she must find the fresh and the best quality cigar. She can choose from a wide range of premium or cheap cigars and mild or full-bodied. Hmmm, that sounds a lot of searching to do. I know she can handle it graciously.

But, she still needs to dig more information on the mothers’ favorite. Also, I know she can handle it as well.

Findings say rich women or those in a position of power are more likely to have baby boys, as opposed to those who rank lower on the social scale.

“According to evolutionary theory, when conditions are good, and babies are likely to be healthy, a mother’s best chance of passing on her genes to another generation is to have boys. Fit, healthy boys will see off rivals and can potentially father hundreds of children, ensuring the survival of the family line. But if a mother is unfit or malnourished, a baby boy is a poor investment. A weak, sickly male is unlikely to beat off competition from other males and may not become a father or even survive. In these circumstances it makes more evolutionary sense to have a girl who does not face competition to become pregnant to continue the family line.” the Mail writes, based on the findings of the recent study.

At the end of the study, researchers were able to determine that women from the lower ranks had mostly girls, whereas higher-ranking wives gave birth mostly to boys. “Higher-ranking wives tend to have more influence, and income, than lower ranking ones. And the more wives a man has, the less food and money there is to share. As expected, lower ranking wives produced more daughters on average than the higher ranking wives or the women in monogamous marriages, the researchers report in the journal Biology Letters.” the Mail explains.

I’ve been wondering what purchase order finance is all about. I’ve heard this somewhere around the web before, but did not bother to go through its detail since I have nothing to do with it. Well, that’s not the case now as I’ve been seeking some kind of capital to start a business. That’s why I’m taking all information that has something to do with it.

mom needs new phone

Oh my, I guess I will have to spend some bucks for mother’s cell phone. I unexpectedly received three missed calls yesterday from her. I thought my little brother is just playing with it. After a while my phone starts ringing again. Good thing I was able to answer it. That is the only time I learned that her phone is already broken. No outgoing and incoming calls can get through it.

I was the one who gave her the phone two years ago as my gift. But, now it’s broken I felt compelled to give her new one. I can say I’m one of her favorite call mate, other than my dad and my brother next to me of course. I guess we are both women so we have lots of things to talk about and we have common likes and dislikes.

Anyway, before I head out to phone shops I will read few cell phone reviews. It’s the best way to learn many things in a particular model and brand. Plus, it’s a good way to spot unfavorable features. Of course, it’s the easiest way to know if people loved it or not. Well, I should be starting my search now.

she creates mini school

Even if we are still counting years before hubby’s youngest nephew goes to preschool, his sister is already preparing things for her little angel to start learning. She buys him kiddy books to teach him reading and other school materials.

Also, she renovates the spare room specifically for her kid where she adds preschool furniture, boards, cabinets, platforms and play equipment. It shows that she’s indeed very excited to send her kid to school. Yet, the kid is too young to be admitted so she makes her own little learning room.

With all those things she can actually open a mini school for other kids. Or she can just invite her neighbors to come and join her while she is teaching her kid. But, I bet she wouldn’t do that.

feeling disappointed

I really feel disappointed by our room doorknob. I was dressing up after coming out of the bathroom, when the door opens wide. The strong air from the outside pushes the door to open. Unfortunately, the doorknob is no longer that reliable. I almost fainted to death. Good thing no one is around. If not, I won’t be able to come out from the room for a couple of days. Whew!

There are only two options to choose from either to have the doorknob change or to fix it. For sure, fixing it isn’t too dependable. That knob already went through several fixing, but the problem still persists. The best option is to change it entirely. I already know the perfect knob as replacement, the Kwikset “HANCOCK” privacy knob interior door hardware.

I saw this somewhere in the web last few months before the scene happens. Luckily, I saved the store name so I won’t have to search again. For sure, this unexpected opening of door will not happen after the knob is changed.

The Importance of Animals in Our Lives

Basically, animals are the major group of mostly multicellular, eukaryotic organisms of the kingdom Animalia or Metazoa. Their body plan eventually becomes fixed as they develop, although some undergo a process of metamorphosis later on in their life.

Thus, animals are important to us because unlike humans they accept you no matter what and are extremely loyal. Without insects for example, the world would not have enough fruits and many vegetables because insects do over half of the pollination. There are a million other things animals do that humans benefit from in this way. Humans always talk about animals like they’re a lower species but humans are animals as well and doesn’t every society frown on eating humans? If it’s not okay to be cruel to or eat one kind of animal, it’s not okay to be cruel to or eat any of them.
