need to invest comfortable bed

It is indeed time for me to invest on nice comfortable bed. Ever since I’m here – three months – I seldom wake up feeling energize and refreshed. Most of the time I wake up feeling tired with backaches. I know it has something to do with the bed my husband and I are sleeping. But, I can do very little at that time so I have to endure it. Now, that I’m earning is a different story.

After paying all the debts I incur in this endeavor, I will surely purchase a memory foam mattress. A memory foam mattress molds to all the contours of the body, giving the neck, shoulders, back and legs proper support. This personalized molding distributes weight evenly, preventing pressure points and allowing better circulation. The reduced stress on the body results in less tossing and turning and gives a more restful nights sleep. With that I’m sure I can perform better at work.

Belated Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year everyone! Well, I’m quite late to greet Christmas and quite early to say Happy New Year. I just grab this opportunity as I may not be able to say it on the same day. I have a demanding job now that requires a lot of my time. Well, it’s not really a lot of time, but it’s indeed tiring. Anyway, this is not the time of the year to whine over job.

For now, I need to focus on finding a gift for me and hubby as well while I still can. I still haven’t got anything for us and for anyone. At least I should get something, right? I checked personal collections and find a great number of gift ideas including birthday gifts for dads. Without a sweat, I find one that I like as well as an item that will suit hubby’s taste. All I need to do now is to wait for salary to pay these stuff.

feeling lazy again

Honestly, I don’t feel like going to work right now. I wanted to lie in my bed the entire day and get a good rest. Adjusting stage is indeed difficult for me. All these new information exhaust my energy. There are times I wanted to quit. But, it would be a waste of my time finding this job. But, I’m sure in time I will be able to adjust and become a pro.

For now, I’m already thinking of having a vacation. Hubby said it’s better to avail local leave because he can take the leave only after two years. In that case, it’s better to find activities worth doing for that time. One of my considerations is horseback riding. I’ve always wanted to experience a great ride, but it’s not happening yet probably because I don’t have riding boots. Whatever the reason, I want to make it happen so when I grow old I can at least say I have done that before. Oh well, good luck to me.

I hate to admit it, but I did gain some weight. It’s not substantial, but the difference is evident especially when wearing tight clothing. It’s inevitable because my lifestyle here in Kish Iran for ten days is too passive and laid-back. Walking around the shore is supposedly the best way to keep the fats away, but due to the strict law it’s not advisable. I can honestly say that I love walking or even jogging late in the afternoon, I even drag hubby to accompany me. However, I can’t do that now because ladies have little choice here. When going out from the hotel we have to wear long skirts or loose fitting clothing that covers the entire body as well as a head cover, which is too hassle when jogging.

Gladly, I am going back to the UAE, which is not too strict when it comes to clothing as long as it’s decent and not too revealing. The gained weight can be mended with the best weight loss pills that I found a few months ago. Add a little more of my cardio exercise, then shedding the adding pounds is faster. But, I’m aware that it’s easier said than done though my hopes are high. Let’s just see about that.

stressful days of my life

Going home isn’t part of the plan. But, worst comes to worst, then I have no choice. This is indeed the most stressful two months of my life. I haven’t experienced such stress before. Thus, I realized going out of my comfort zone is strikingly difficult. I could really use a fresher back home with my family.

During my stay I always wish I’m at home with my loud happy family. Well, that wish might come true if my employer will retract their promise employment visa. I can’t really stop them from doing such because they have the power to do that. All I could do is to pray really hard that they won’t change their mind in hiring me.

If ever I go home, I’ll make sure I’ll go picnic, hiking and many more and have some fun and relax. I already told mom to attach thule bike rack on the car. I intend to go nature tripping or outdoor biking to remove all the stress that built up for the last two months. There’s no other way to get me back in top shape other than to enjoy with my family.

But, all these stress I’m feeling right now will surely vanish if my employer will call me for some good news. I hope that will happen tomorrow.

really happy for my friend

I’m really happy for a friend who finally walks down the aisle. Actually, we aren’t that close so it’s no surprise that I did not receive any wedding invitations. But, it’s okay I still wish her happy married life. She looks really happy in her wedding gown. She even cried on the ceremony proper – it’s in the pictures by the way.

The sight of their wedding makes me think when I will be able to experience such. It’s not like I doubt hubby’s promises, but I’m beginning to feel a little anxious. Keeping positive outlook and refraining from negative thoughts is what I’m practicing these days to avoid frustrations. I’m confident he won’t break his promises. He is just waiting for the right time and when that time comes it will be one the happiest day of my life.

Before visiting hubby’s aunt, we decided to go to the mall to window shop and scout for prices. It’s a newly open mall that is just walking distance from our apartment. It’s been open for five days, but it’s the only time we feel like looking around. Besides, the surge of crowd is really overwhelming especially on the first two days. So, we waited until today thinking that the number of people will thin, but I guess that will never happen.

Still, I enjoyed the left and right sale of different items. If I just have money with me, I will surely purchase so many items from the food processor, refrigerator, washing machine, laptop and garmin nuvi 255w for hubby’s aunt. I’m certain she will love having a GPS since her husband loves traveling. If ever, it’s our thank you gift for all the help and support her family gave us. Unfortunately, we don’t have much in our pockets as of this time. But, we will buy all those in the future.

Earlier this day, hubby received a phone call from her employer’s secretary. I can hear the other end of the line saying the good news. Even if I wasn’t able to hear the words she says, I can still figure it out because it’s written all over hubby’s face. Despite that I still asked hubby about it. He is happy that the verification company already made recommendation to submit his papers to the licensing office, which is indeed good news.

In that case he needs to prepare himself by knowing where to purchase nurses uniforms. Although the company might provide his uniform, there is still a possibility that he won’t get any. So, he really needs to know how to acquire new uniforms because he left most of the old ones. Good thing he has the option to purchase online just in case he can’t find a better store in the area.

Yesterday, hubby and I decided to go the mall. It’s a blessing that hubby’s aunt and her family isn’t there in the church so the two of us have an alone time after. It’s actually embarrassing to wonder when they are around. We have to conform to their destination. However, we only head out for a lunch and to the supermarket, then go home after that’s the routine ever since. That’s why we did not miss the chance to roam the mall.

While in the mall, hubby suggested looking at different gadgets. Honestly, we don’t have any plans on buying anything. But, looking around is a good way to make future plans. We grab a catalogue of one of electronics store, but we did not open it until we arrive at the house. That is the only time, we discover different Ipod accessories. We suggest the same to brother-in-law as he owns an ipod. He indeed finds the accessories useful and plans to purchase it at the end of the month.

suggesting used laptop

For almost a month now, one of our roommates continually talks about his intentions of purchasing a laptop. Actually, he is the only one other than me who doesn’t have a machine. I purposely didn’t bring mine because I wanted to buy a new one. I already felt ashamed of the appearance of my device. But, performance wise, it is still pretty good and perfect.

With his current salary, I prefer to suggest refurbished laptops. I’m not saying he doesn’t have enough to pay for brand new device, I just feel it’s much better to have huge savings. That way he can use the savings for his family in his home country. He can still find great deals on the best brands of used laptops and netbooks, like Acer, HP, and Toshiba at a fraction of the price at the Source. Most of these laptop computers and netbooks have been used in The Source stores as display models, but they are in good quality condition. So, he can own a laptop without having to spend so much.
