Belated Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year everyone! Well, I’m quite late to greet Christmas and quite early to say Happy New Year. I just grab this opportunity as I may not be able to say it on the same day. I have a demanding job now that requires a lot of my time. Well, it’s not really a lot of time, but it’s indeed tiring. Anyway, this is not the time of the year to whine over job.

For now, I need to focus on finding a gift for me and hubby as well while I still can. I still haven’t got anything for us and for anyone. At least I should get something, right? I checked personal collections and find a great number of gift ideas including birthday gifts for dads. Without a sweat, I find one that I like as well as an item that will suit hubby’s taste. All I need to do now is to wait for salary to pay these stuff.

Yesterday, hubby and I decided to go the mall. It’s a blessing that hubby’s aunt and her family isn’t there in the church so the two of us have an alone time after. It’s actually embarrassing to wonder when they are around. We have to conform to their destination. However, we only head out for a lunch and to the supermarket, then go home after that’s the routine ever since. That’s why we did not miss the chance to roam the mall.

While in the mall, hubby suggested looking at different gadgets. Honestly, we don’t have any plans on buying anything. But, looking around is a good way to make future plans. We grab a catalogue of one of electronics store, but we did not open it until we arrive at the house. That is the only time, we discover different Ipod accessories. We suggest the same to brother-in-law as he owns an ipod. He indeed finds the accessories useful and plans to purchase it at the end of the month.

A few months ago, mom told over the broken digi box at home. She said my brothers got into a fight and accidentally hit the box. So, they have to purchase a new one, which turns to me. Luckily, there is an affordable converter online where I was able to save some money. But, I still spend even if I got savings. It’s better that way though because it is really necessary to buy it.

Oh well, I’m glad I choose the best one since I’m not hearing complaints from my parents. It will really irk me if problem arise because I can’t take care of it. Our distance can be a big problem if ever they whine. The only option available to me when that happens is to buy a new one again. At least, I can rest my head now that the converter is not giving them problems.

Wow! I can’t stop feeling amazed by the themed photos of my sister-in-law. It makes me want to try it out myself. But, it may not be possible for me at the moment due to distant constraint. She is a fairy in her photos taken in the middle of the forest with falls. Her photographer and makeup artists are so skillful that it turned out like she is indeed a fairy playing in the forest and in the water.

Like I said it makes me want to try it out, not as the model, but as a photographer. I’m certain it takes a lot of lenses and nice camera to make it happen. But, it’s not my thing as of the moment. Hubby and I are into nature photography. Our main target is South Africa that hosts a collection of wildlife regions and game reserves, encompassing every possible landscape from deserts to forests, mountain chains and coastal reserves to the wonderful plethora of pristine game parks.

As of the moment we are gathering devices that can help us make good photos. While checking for spotting scopes at Optic Scale, I also ran across the Nikon rifle scopes. It’s not something that I have immediate need, but I’m sure the information will come in handy in the future so I still check the products. Who knows I will be in hunting games in the future. But, for now I will stick my nose to our main target.

I have to admit, I feel disappointed after realizing it’s not a good idea to remove the blinds in our room. We decided to get rid of it because of cleaning difficulties. Integrate alternative abs exercises such as the plank to tone and tighten your stomach. Adding a new exercise to your routine will invigorate and inspire you to reach new fitness levels.

The Plank – this is an exercise that tones and tightens the stomach muscles. Lie face down on the floor with your back straight and legs extended as if you were about to do a push-up. Lift yourself up on to your elbows and bring yourself up on to your toes. Pull your stomach in tightly. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Maintain this position for 20 seconds and repeat three to four times. Do the plank three times a week.

Side Twists – this are good for targeting the obliques. Stand up straight keeping your back straight and your hands behind your head like you were about to do a crunch. Twist your body to the left, and then slowly twist your body to the right. Do two sets of 50 side twists three times a week.

Leg Raises – this will tone and tighten the lower abs. To perform leg raises effectively, lie on your back with your back straight on the floor. Extend your feet out in front of you. Keep your arms by your sides and feet together. Raise both legs about 4 inches off the ground, hold for 10 seconds and lower them back down again. Use your stomach muscles to stabilize your body. Lift and lower your legs until you have done 10 to 15 repetitions. Do three to four sets — and perform leg raises three to four times a week.
