Before, my sister always calls my attention when she has a requirement that needs a slide show. She thinks that my work is better than that of hers. So, I gave in because she is my younger sister. I let her do that for quite some time because I understand the difficulties of being a student. I’ve been there and I want to lend a hand for her not to experience it.

However, in the long run she thinks that I welcome all her requirements. I already feel she is taking advantage of it that’s why I call her attention saying she should be the one that must finish her tasks. I have a life of my own to attend to. And she will never learn if she continually relies on me to do her homework. Good thing she listens to me.

Well, I really think she will no longer have to go through long hours in making slide show. With the help of smilebox, she can create slide shows in just minutes. pimple problems in the family

I’m not the only person in the family who suffers from pimples. Actually, almost all of my siblings do. But, my treatment for acne doesn’t work well for everyone. Two of my brothers have their own product because using mine could mean disaster. I guess that’s because we have different skin types.

Anyway, it was just recently that my sister bought her own product. Since she is a full-time student, she doesn’t have lots of money to fund her beauty needs. And she is so shy to ask for money for that. So, she is left to share whatever that is available in the washroom.

But, when my brother next to me and I decided to employ her this summer, she is already making money. Now, she is very happy that she bought a product that fits her skin type. After only a week, all her pimples washed away and clear skin is on its way.

unfinished business due to limited resources

Putting up online printing services is the main plan of my brother and father a few months ago. They already made a name and already created a website in wordpress. But, the process ends there. The website is still blank as of now. In short, they were not able to push through due to some hindrance.

One of the reasons for not succeeding in this plan is the limited resources. Both of them could not focus to put everything in place as they are both breadwinner of the family. Stopping at their work to give time to their plan, will surely hurt their finances that will result to difficulties of the entire family. Plus, they don’t have savings that can be used during the growth time of the business.

I guess everything will just be in place if they can find time to organize everything. For now, all they can do is to wait for the perfect time.

everything seems blurry

Oh my, everything seems blurry now. Yesterday hubby changed our first plan, which is to go abroad specifically to Abu Dhabi. Of course he asked me some advice about it. I do agree to the new plan, which I will keep a secret for now. I will share it if we already finalize our decisions.

For now the only certain thing I know is that I will go back home no matter what our decisions will be. I guess some of my furniture will become outdoor furniture. No matter how we tried to arrange the stuff in my parent’s house. There is no more room left. The house is already congested with lots of items. Or another idea is to sell it that way other people will make use of it, instead of putting them outside and let it withered by too much sun exposure and rain.

Anyway, that’s it for now. Hopefully, we can come up with the best decision that will put us in a win-win situation.

Hubby and I have been together for more than five years. And during that time, we only face minute problems. However, I am asking what will happen if we break up. Of course, I don’t intend to end our relationship; I am just curious what will happen. For sure some things will change. And this change is backed up by a scientific investigation.

Quick easy dinner recipes for tomorrows’ graduation celebration

Tomorrow, my family and I will be celebrating my brother’s high school graduation. This event actually made us all very busy, shopping for clothes, graduation gifts, and preparing for a small gathering. The only problem we faced now is that we haven’t decided what recipe to cook.

Okay mom is preparing to do some grocery today and I rush to find the best dinner meal that will suit our budget and taste. The dinner must be special, meaning different from our usual dinners. We can’t just prepare a stewed pork or braised pork or fried chicken on a special day like graduation. In fact, if we have sufficient money we should go out and eat in a fine restaurant. Sadly we don’t have much. So, it’s better to find something that is new to our eyes and taste.

Where to find those recipes? Of course in the web, the most convenient and most cost effective way to get recipes. Anyway, as I am searching, I find this Quick easy dinner recipes at Ivillage site. There are so many choices from chicken, pasta, comfort, vegetarian, vegan, low fat, and appetizer and so on.

I think I would have to try the Classic Meat Loaf and Honey Ginger Pork Ribs for the main course. For the appetizer, I guess I will choose Caribbean Crab Cakes Benedict. But, there are more in recipes on the site. I just choose the recipes I mentioned because they don’t look so complicated.

Thinking about it makes me so hungry. But, I will have to wait until tomorrow before cooking it. For now I have to make a list fast because mom is itching to go to the market. Actually, I am making some excuses because I can’t wait to blog about this. But, she doesn’t notice it because every time she enters the room I turn my windows to ivillage food site.

ice cream madness

Hahaha Hubby and I decided to watch some movies since it’s Saturday. But, at the movie house we can’t find something worthy of our time and money. So, we call it a day and head out to roam around the mall before doing some grocery. As we get tired we rush to the supermarket.

However, since he wasn’t able to spend some time with me watching movies, he opts for ice cream instead. Okay, we bought half gallon. Guess what? We almost finish it off in just one sitting. Hahaha we can’t stop eating it. It is really good and we keep on eating while chatting about the things that happen in our everyday life. Before we know it we already consume half of it. We did not mind the calories actually.

Well, we finish everything after dinner. Hmm, half gallon of ice cream in one day is really something. I hope we will not do this again we will surely add some weight because of this. Hehehe

my brother’s first prom

Not long ago, February to be specific, my brother attended his senior prom where he enjoys every minute of it. But, before the big day he got into a big argument with my mom. Why? He wants to wear one of those tuxedos.

Okay there is no problem to that. But, the only problem we have is what will happen to the suit after one use. It will just sit in the closet collecting dust. He will not be able to wear it after his prom because he will still go to college and that’s four years. That’s why mom tried to convince him just to wear long sleeve polo. But, he never listens. He insists to wear tuxedo.

Well, mom gave in and looked for it because it’s the first time my brother will be attending that kind of event. Good thing she found tuxedo rental somewhere in town. The fitting isn’t so good, but he likes it. So, we are happy about that.

Mother’s day gift plan

While I visit some of my blogger friends, I realized that Mother’s Day is coming soon. I searched the web and found out that May 9, 2010 is the official celebration for our country. That is two months to go. It means I have ample time to select the best gift from the wide assortments of mothers day gifts.

Before I could go further, I found a beautiful heart-shaped birthstone necklace. I am sure my mom will like this item as she is a very girly type of woman. She likes hearts, ribbons and flower designs in her things. That’s why it is no doubt she will adore this. However, there is more to see. I will continue my search, but I will include this in my lists.

I feel a little jealous because I will not receive anything on that day. But, it’s okay time will come I will be a mother.

another moving out plan

Whew! We have another moving out plans. But, this time the move will separate hubby and me. He is planning to go to Abu Dhabi while I will stay and return to my parents. This plan will commence probably by Jun or July. Anyway, I decided to remain because we can’t possibly stay in a foreign country with no work to fund our daily expenses.

Good thing we are renting our apartment that makes it easier for me to move back to my parent’s house. I thought of staying, but I am not used to being alone in a house for a long time. For now, I am starting to make preparations as to how many boxes I need.

I’ve learned from my friend before that I can buy printed boxes at the mall. It may not be as sturdy and high quality as to the ones offered by packnboxnow, it will do since it’s not a long distance transfer. I can even go back and forth just to pick up some items. But, I won’t do that because it’s a waste of time.

Ow well, it’s still months to go and our plans might change. So, let’s just see what will happen.
