A few months ago, hubby went to Abu Dhabi, UAE to give his brother a visit. He stayed there for a month, while I stayed in my parents’ house. It’s like we are in the brink of separation although we still communicate to each other. Good thing, no one thinks like that. We only consider it as singles vacation to give ourselves a break. Each of us had our own share of fun.

After a month, we went back to our apartment, and then there he let a bomb out. He proposed to me with a ring all the way from UAE. It features 28 round diamonds set on 18k rose gold. It’s not like the ring I always envision (scott kay tiara semi-mount) receiving from the man I love, but it will do. Actually, I always asked him to give me something like that kind on our church wedding. It feels more princess-like if I wear that kind of ring. Even if that is the case, I still appreciate and my heart leaps while he puts the ring in my hand.

Once again, mom and I are talking about changing the house flooring. We are supposed to do that a year ago, but something came up that cease the plan. I will not talk about the details, besides it’s in the past. I’m more interested to discuss the present, which is what I am doing now.

Anyway, she wanted to start changing the floor in their room. It’s a little disadvantageous on my part, but it’s okay since I’m not staying in this house for long. She has a point saying that it’s better to do it room per room so not to feel the huge expenses we’ll be incurring. Plus, we don’t have that much to fund huge costs even if BestLaminate.net pergo flooring offers discount these days. But, we can handle a per room renovation. So, I guess we are settled about that although I still have to wait for their share.

Honestly, this vacation isn’t part of the plan for this month. The initial plan is to join a wedding of a friend and be home after three days. But, my friends who are supposedly going with me cancel their trip and dad also blocks me from going because of security reasons. I have no choice, but to convert my visit into a week-long vacation with my family. Another thing, hubby is also with me so he could join the fun.

The only problem is that we aren’t prepared for this financially. So, I have to make a decision whether to use payday advance or use our savings. Hubby said we can’t touch the savings because it’s for something that I can’t share. The only choice left now is the cash advance. Good thing this service is available in times like this. If not, then we will have no choice, but to use the other option that is really bad for us.

brother is on vacation

Brother is in town ever since Friday night. But, I did not have the chance to meet him because he is with three other people and they seem to be very busy. He said the four of them are going to apply for the job vacancy they learned a few days ago. Well, I don’t buy that reason since it’s too unusual for four friends to apply for one job vacancy. My hunch is right for thinking that he is indeed spending a vacation. He is just too shy to say so; probably thinks I will oppose to the idea. But, I won’t because I clearly know he needs it.

Despite hiding the truth to me, I still offer to lend him my camera. Although it doesn’t have the capacity of those trail cameras at least they can capture a lot of photos. Unfortunately, he did not take the offer. Anyway, trail cameras are typically associated with hunters and the pursuit of big game animals. These cameras are constantly producing amazing pictures that people would normally never get to see. The clarity and quality of the photos are simply amazing. I do recognize this quality and would love to have one for my outdoors photography. For now, I’ll just settle with my digital camera.

beginning of a new chapter of our life

Yipee! Hubby and I are already done with our pre-marriage counseling. Now, we are just waiting for the approval of our marriage license. By then, we can finalize the date of our marriage. Of course, just like any other women out there I’m also very excited for this part. This will be the beginning of a new chapter of our life although I won’t be wearing cute maternity clothes in the nearest future yet. There are still a lot of things we need to do before having a baby. But, getting married is already a good start.

Actually, we have been living together for almost four years now. But, we decided to postpone having a new family member. We wanted to enjoy our life together as much as we can. And, we still have a lot of dreams to fulfill. Another reason, we are not yet prepare due to our financial situation. Don’t get me wrong, I do want to have at least two kids in the future. We are just waiting for the right time for that.

Yesterday, hubby’s sister invited us to join them for dinner at the airport. They wanted to at least bond with us before going to Thailand for a five day vacation. They have at least six hours before boarding time; enough time to have some chitchat, but insufficient to leave the place to roam the nearest mall. So, we delightfully accepted the invitation.

She still looks stunning as ever; I envy her on that part. At 34 she still looks gorgeous, the same as the first time I saw her six years ago. I can’t find a streak of aging in her face. Even before, she is an avid user of anti-aging products and it does give her the result she needs.

From that I’m already preparing to do some research for the best anti-aging product. I’m sure it won’t be long when I will need it. I’ve heard from someone prototype #37c is the ultimate wrinkle cream available in the market these days. If that’s the case, then it’s a good option for me. But, it will not hurt to dig further, besides I still have a few years before using any of these products.

Mom called me early this day to check me up. She just felt the need to talk to her beloved daughter until her pre-paid load is consumed. Of course, I will abandon any work or activity I’m doing when she is calling. Her call is too precious because it only happens once in a blue moon. So, it deserves some solid attention.

We are both laughing, giggling and excitedly talking just about anything. But, I got a little shaky when she mentioned the promise I made. I told her I will give her some money for the repair of our kitchen. It reminds me that I’m supposed to purchase one of those undermount kitchen sinks other than the money.

Even if I already found wholesale prices, the prices are really low, on the web; I still won’t be able to buy it. I don’t have much in my savings this time because I’m only receiving small number of jobs. I’m not sure how to tell her since it will really worry her. So, I did not comment on that matter and change the subject. But, I always keep that in mind just like all the promised I made.

trouble over thinning hair line

My brother next to me is having trouble over his thinning hair line. At the age of 24 he already experienced hair loss, I think it’s due to stress. But, he needs to resolve the problem before he will lose all his hair. He tried different types of hair loss treatments, yet it did not solve his issue.

Good thing he keeps on searching for the best product until he got one. Indeed, there are products that work just as they promise. But, one needs to do some research to find them. My brother is just fortunate that he finds it after years of searching. For now, he continually used the product whenever it is needed. I just hope it will solve his problem permanently.

thankful for the successful graduation party

I’m just thankful the graduation party of my sister held last Sunday was successful. The rain almost ruined everything, good thing it only lasted for five minutes. Other problems arise, but we were able to cope with it. Also, the guess appreciated the food prepared by no other than me and mom, which warms our hearts.

Moreover, we are lucky to have a supply of monte cristo cigars in the humidors. We did not expect to have a lot of smoker visitors; most of them are our relatives, mother side. They love the rich tasting cigar that sports a silky, golden wrapper that burns beautifully with a marvelously sweet aroma and creamy finish. It helped us entertain them while we are looking for ways to solve the troubles. If it weren’t for the cigars, we had some bad time in the middle of the party.
