		<description>Both are very serious illnesses directly related to low self esteem and negative body image. 

Images on TV don&#039;t help. The media portrays all women as tall and skinny. Well that body type represents less than 1% of all women on the planet. But  young girls are exposed to these images and they begin to form opinions and views on what looks &quot;good&quot; and how they should be, at a very early age. 

Parents need to have frank discussions with their kids about proper eating and also about body types and image.
