Facts about Botox

In a way you may believe that Botox will erase all your wrinkles, but be warned. While authorities in the United States and Europe have approved botulinum toxin for smoothing spasms of the eyelids or neck, clearing facial lines, and treating excessive sweating, they also warn of serious side effects from the treatment. When injected, Botox paralyzes the target muscle and prevents it from contracting within four to six months period. If the injection hit the wrong muscles, such as people with neuromuscular disorders, however, Botox can lead to death.
