to smooth fiber
Before going out of the house to enjoy the day, be sure to look perfect. Well, what I mean is you should look at your best by wearing clean, and well iron clothes. There are three major steps to smooth fiber after washing and here it is.
Moistening A moisten fabric is easier to bring back into its straight shape. Steam is the best way of moistening because fine steam goes deep into the fibres while mist takes longer to dry with heat. To make the fiber soft and flexible again, you can now bypass sprinkling or spraying garments with the water bottle thanks to the steam iron.
Stretching This is where the materials and shape of the soleplate (the bottom of the iron) is important. When the iron glides over to smooth or flatten the fibers, pressure is applied via the weight of the soleplate and this will fix the fibres in position.
Drying Once the fabric is stretched flat it must be dried immediately so fibres remain perfectly fixed. Right level of heat is very important – the iron should not be too cool or too hot.
